Hi, I’m Dot!

I’m a certified coach who’s written communications for top executives in tech through crisis, change, and growth.

I’ve counseled executives through employee activism, and coached employees on how to advocate up the chain without losing their jobs (or their hope)

I currently work in internal communications at Google DeepMind where our mission is to build AI responsibly to benefit humanity. In addition to my core role, I’m also a g2g coach, offering coaching to employees across Alphabet. Opinions my own, and do not reflect my employer’s.

On my Substack, Work Light Balance, the subscriber community and I reflect on anonymous questions at the intersection of personal ethics and work.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been on a quest to understand how people match their values with their actions. I have Bachelors degrees in Philosophy and Communications from Seton Hall University; and a Liberal Studies Masters degree from the New School for Social Research where I played with a wide range of questions from what sparks social revolutions to how do our identity narratives change over time?
